This is my watercolor painting of the next Divyadesam: Thiru Anbil, which has been painted with Camlin Watercolors on Chitrapat paper.
The lord here called Sri Vadivazhagiya Nambi, is found reclining on a serpent. The goddess Azhagiyavalli Nachiyar, is in a standing position. This temple is eight kilometres away form Trichy.
A sage called Manduka, who was turned into a frog by sage Durvasa, because he was not welcomed with respect, prayed to Vishnu and got absolved of his curse in this temple.
